Preparation of Comprehensive District Spatial Development Plans for five Coastal Districts in the Western Region of Ghana; including Jomoro, Ellembelle, Nzema East Districts as well as Shama and Ahanta West Districts.
Jubilee Partners led by Tullow Oil Plc in collaboration with the five District Assemblies, respectively, initiated a project to prepare comprehensive district spatial development framework plans for the respective districts. The urgency for this intervention was necessitated by the off-shore oil find in the West Cape Three Point and the DeepwaterTano basins. This is occurring in an environment where no spatial development framework and plans exist to manage the anticipated influx and growth.
